Naomi Campbell assaulted her driver yesterday in New York City but he has decided this morning not to press charges because she probably offer him a shitload of money not too. Campbell allegedly struck him with her cell phone, he told authorities. It gets better from there. The driver eventually stopped the car on the Upper East Side to call 911; that's when Naomi Campbell jumped out of the car and ran. The cops are presently "looking to speak to her," according to reports. Police are saying she "likely" won't face criminal charges, though Naomi Campbell's driver claims the supermodel assaulted him, and then ran from the scene. The

The driver, whose name wasn't immediately released, told police he pulled the black Cadillac Escalade over in midtown Manhattan after Campbell hit him from behind and his head struck the steering wheel, causing bruising under his right eye. He spoke to a traffic agent, who alerted police. Campbell was not at the scene when officers arrived, police said.
The 27-year-old driver, apparently hired just for the day, told police he picked Campbell up at a Manhattan hotel and was taking her to Astoria Studios, a TV and film studio complex in Queens, New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne said.
Tuesday evening, Campbell's rep said: "There shouldn't be a rush to judgment. Naomi will cooperate voluntarily. There is more to the story than meets the eye." Campbell was last seen exiting the black Cadillac Escalade the incident allegedly took place in, and darting through mid-town Manhattan clad in a black designer coat, police said. As for why Naomi is escaping assault charges, money can buy you good things like freedom.
She has pleaded guilty to assault on two occasions recently. In 2007, she threw a cell phone at her assistant, and in 2008, she attacked police officers at London's Heathrow Airport.
